With 18 VirtuSpheres built and more in the pipeline, this amazing technology can now be
seen in many places around the world. VirtuSphere systems are located in Washington
D.C., Moscow, Seattle, Redmond, Saint-Petersburg, Binghamton and Almetyevsk.

A selection of some of our customer stories:
VirtuSphere installed at the A.S. Popov Central Museum of Communications,

one of the oldest museums of science and technology in the world, located in the historic centre of
Saint-Petersburg, Russia. The VirtuSphere system will be used both for the purposes of creating
and displaying virtual reality exhibits, and as training and demonstration equipment for those
studying and practicing state-of-the-art communications technologies. It is planned that the
students and faculty of the
Saint-Petersburg State University of Telecommunications will have
access to this VirtuSphere and that they will be conducting research and practical projects with the
system. This was the second VirtuSphere installed in the month of July, 2005.
VirtuSphere used to explore the origins of oil

Tatneft, JSC, one of Russia’s leading oil and gas companies, chose VirtuSphere to play a unique
role in its corporate museum in Almetyevsk. Visitors have an opportunity to use the VirtuSphere to
stroll through the virtual exhibits that were created by our team as self guided software tours. They
compliment the physical portion of the museum.
VirtuSphere provides International Olympic Committee with a stroll 7 years into the future
The Moscow 2012 Olympic Bid Committee contracted VirtuSphere for a unique project. With
“Imagine it Now” as the main theme of the effort, we helped them replace paper blueprints and
CAD drawings with 3D models of the sites that would be built if the city got the games. VirtuSphere
provided the hardware and also created precise software models (with over one square mile of
terrain and buildings running on a “physics engine”). The constructs were successfully
demonstrated to the International Olympic Committee; emphasized the security aspect – the
models would allow specialists to begin preparing even before the physical structures are built.
VirtuSphere received public praise from the Deputy-Mayor of Moscow (broadcast on TV).

Crowd magnet to Intel booth at CyberCup 2005

Intel Corp. was the main sponsor of CyberCup 2005. VirtuSphere was called in to provide
excitement and show the future of full body motion gaming in virtual reality. Many CyberCup
participants and guests had an opportunity to walk in cyberspace (while many more watched) –
they came to the Intel booth for the experience.

Helping promote tourism

The Tourism Office of the Moscow City Government purchased and used the VirtuSphere to
replace their previous traditional means of marketing at international trade shows (video and slide
demonstrations) with VR "walk-throughs". People from around the world could take a walk in Red
Square - without leaving their actual physical locations.
Office of Naval Research’s Virtual Technologies and Environments program (VIRTE)

"The VirtuSphere provides us with an innovative locomotion input device for Virtual Environment
research." said Commander Dylan Schmorrow, Program Manager at the Office of Naval Research.
"We are eager to experiment with the VirtuSphere to see how its capabilities compare to other
input devices in training combat tasks."
